Grow Food. Grow Leaders. Grow Oakland’s Future.
Give today to help Oakland youth thrive
In Oakland, too many young people grow up without reliable access to fresh, healthy food, safe outdoor spaces, or opportunities to see themselves as leaders and changemakers.
At Acta Non Verba: Youth Urban Farm Project, we are changing that—one seed, one harvest, and one young leader at a time.
Youth plant, harvest, and cook, exploring the connections between food, health, the environment, and justice. Along the way, they build practical skills, confidence, resilience, and a deeper sense of belonging in their community.
Our impact so far in 2026 includes:
- 1,700+ produce bags distributed through our CSA
- 7,000+ lbs of free fruits and veggies given away to neighbors in need
- 23,750 organic meals and snacks provided to youth at Summer Camp ANV
- 187 elementary-aged youth welcomed to Summer Camp ANV for 10 hours/day for five weeks
- 30 youth, ages 15-25, paid a living wage through Camp ANV's seasonal youth employment program
When you give to Acta Non Verba, you are investing in a future where every child has access to nature, nourishing food, and the power to create change.
Please donate today to help Oakland youth thrive!
